Downtown Albany

The Albany St. Patrick's Day parade takes place on March 16 starting at 2:00 PM. The parade steps off from Lexington and Central Avenues and ends at State and Green Streets.


St. Patrick's Day (March 17) specials: 

  • Dawn's Victory Sports Cafe (10 Sheridan Avenue): Corned beef and drink specials, music by DJ Debonair. More information here. Open at 11:00 AM (kitchen opens at 12:00 PM). 
  • McGeary's Irish Pub (4 Clinton Square): Live music starts at Noon. Food and drink specials. Open 11:00 AM-2:00 AM (kitchen open Noon-10:00 PM). 
  • The City Beer Hall (42 Howard Street): Irish food specials and drink specials, music by DJ Mo Haskins. Open 10:00 AM-10:00 PM.
  • The Excelsior Pub (54 Philip Street): Food and drink specials. Pinball league starts at 5:00 PM. Open 11:00 AM-Midnight.
St. Patrick's parade day (March 16): 


Parade day specials:

  • Albany Stadium Restaurant & Bar (51 S Pearl Street): $3 draft beers. Open at 3:00 PM. 
  • Ama Cocina (4 Sheridan Avenue): Food and drink specials. Open at 4:00 PM. 
  • Dawn's Victory Sports Cafe (10 Sheridan Avenue): Corned beef and drink specials, music by DJ Debonair. More information here. Open at 11:00 AM (kitchen opens at 2:00 PM). 
  • Loch & Quay (414 Broadway): $5 Guinness, $5 Smithwicks, $5 Fiddleheads, $6 shots of Jameson. Open Noon-7:30 PM. 
  • McGeary's Irish Pub (4 Clinton Square): Bagpipers, live music by Nymbis, food and drink specials. Open 11:00 AM-2:00 AM (kitchen open Noon-11:00 PM). 
  • Ophelia's (388 Broadway): Music by DJ Kendo, DJ Steezy, DJ Hazeyy. Open at Noon. 
  • The City Beer Hall (42 Howard Street): Irish food specials, drink specials, music by DJ Mo Haskins. Open at 10:00 AM.
  • The Excelsior Pub (54 Philip Street): Food and drink specials. Open Noon-2:00 AM.
  • The Hollow Bar + Kitchen (79 N Pearl Street): Irish-inspired menu offerings, drink specials, music by DJ Spitz and Road Soda Pop. Open at noon. 
  • The Olde English Pub (683 Broadway): Special parade day menu. Open 11:00 AM-11:00 PM. 
  • The Yard (16 Sheridan Ave): Special drinks and free yard games (based on availability and excluding game reservations). Open 12:00 -11:00 PM.
