Downtown Albany
The City of Albany hosts a Tree Lighting celebration on December 1 from 5:00-8:00 PM in Academy Park (across the street from Albany City Hall).
The tree lighting ceremony kicks off with a concert by Amy Heebner on the historic Albany City Carillon beginning at 5:00 PM.
Mayor Sheehan, members of the Albany Tulip Court and city officials will light the tree at 6:00pm. Afterwards, enjoy a holiday performance by Albany High School Albanettes and Troubadours Choir, holiday crafts and FREE refreshment. Representatives from local organizations will be on-hand with information on their programs and upcoming events.
